We serve our community in many ways: Paradise Point Camp for children and adults, Monday morning Centering Prayer, Alcohol Anonymous meetings every morning, Narcotics Anonymous meetings on Saturday evenings, and numerous partnerships with other non-profit service organizations. St. Andrew’s Cares provides funds to those in need in our community. We have paid utility bills, medical costs, food cards, and provided other needed support through our trusted partners. We donate birthday baking kits, food cards, and food to local food banks. Our Blessing of the Animals is a popular event in early fall.

The Details

Then

In 1912, before the railroad reached the “Long Valley of Idaho”, Episcopal Bishop, Daniel Sylvester Tuttle occasionally traveled north from Boise to hold Episcopal services in McCall. By 1916, the Reverend A.L. Wood was holding services in a frame building called St. Andrew’s Church. The church’s progression and regression in McCall paralleled employment opportunities in this area of mining, logging, and sheep farming, but in 1960, Bishop Norman L. Foote dedicated a new St. Andrew’s Church, on the corner of Forest and Gamble Streets.
