May 29 Update: The weather has been “interesting” and foiled our plans for removing the downed tree. We will keep the 2nd work day on the schedule, which is slated for June 13, 10 am-12pm when we’ll clean flower beds and wash windows. May the weather cooperate!
May 19: Spring is slowly arriving, and it’s time to gather and do our spring clean up of the building and property.
The vestry has set two work days for these projects. The first is Saturday, June 4th, 10am-12pm, when we will tackle the downed tree and slash pile. Steve Penny will finish bucking it up, but we need a couple of pick up trucks and their handlers to load and haul away the wood. (It is not suitable for firewood.)
The second work day will be Saturday, June 13th, 10am-12pm, and that will be for sprucing up the flower beds, washing windows, etc.
The members of the vestry and I are so grateful for everyone’s willingness to be part of stewarding our property! Thank you to all of you!
